Bluetooth Smart

The Blue Smart IP22 battery charger is the wireless solution for monitoring voltage and current, changing settings and updating the charger when new features become available.

High efficiency

With up to 94% efficiency, these chargers generate up to four times less heat compared to the industry standard. And once the battery is fully charged, consumption is reduced to 0.5 watts, five to ten times less than the industry standard.

6-stage adaptive charging algorithm: check-initial charge-absorption-reconditioning-float-storage

The Blue Smart charger features microprocessor-controlled adaptive battery management. Its adaptive function will automatically optimize the charging process based on the usage of the battery.

Storage mode: less aging and maintenance required when the battery is not in use

Storage mode is activated when the battery has not been discharged for 24 hours. In storage mode, the float voltage is reduced to 2.2V/cell (13.2V for 12V batteries) to reduce gassing and corrosion of the positive plates. Once a week, the voltage is raised back to absorption level to “equalize” the battery. This function prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation, the main causes of battery failure.

Also charges Li-Ion (LiFePO₄) batteries

LiFePO₄ batteries are charged using a simple initial charge algorithm – absorption – float.

NIGHT and LOW settings

When NIGHT or LOW mode is active, the output current is reduced to a maximum of 50% of the rated output and the charger will be completely silent. NIGHT mode ends automatically after 8 hours. LOW mode can be ended manually.

Overheating protection

The output current will reduce as the temperature increases up to 50ºC, but the Blue Smart charger will not fail.
