Dessal offers courses aimed at professionals in the nautical sector such as charters, captains and crew to provide them with the necessary knowledge to enable them to carry out the proper maintenance of desalination plants and solve the most common breakdowns on the high seas.
These days we will be holding a technical specialisation course on water treatment plants for boats at our facilities in Vilanova i la Geltrú, aimed at technicians in the sector. This course is entirely developed in English and designed to provide participants with theoretical and practical knowledge on the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of desalination systems for boats. The principles of reverse osmosis, the essential components of a water treatment plant, the correct operation of these systems and how to carry out adequate maintenance to avoid many of the problems that technicians usually encounter in their interventions will be covered. In addition, in the repair workshop, participants will be taught how to diagnose and solve the most common faults of the different systems (manual, semi-automatic and automatic). The combination of theory and practice in a specialised environment provides a complete training experience.
